Mr. Churchill has been submitting poetry for publication nationally and in the Spanish speaking world with episodic success since 1979.  He is a native of Sonoma, California and has lived and worked internationally.  Mr. Churchill has been employed as a poet for CPITS (California Poets In The Public Schools) since 1998, and is a current member of the Ina Coolbrith Poety Circle in Berkeley , Ca. He has four publications:  Song of Seasons, Small Poetry Press, 1996; Controlled Burn, Small Poetry Press, 1996; Sleeping with Ghosts/Durmiendo con Fantasmas, Kulupi Press, 1999; and The Veil/El Velo, Kulupi Press, 2000.  He has also many first and placement awards for his poems.
