Holding Masters Degrees in Literature and Law, she is the author of three chapbooks of bilingual poetry, ANOCHECER / NIGHTFALL, OFRENDA / OFFERING and PASION / PASSION, as well as a book of poetry in English, ORIGAMI. Marie has won awards in both poetry and prose: most recently, SECOND PLACE for her poem "The Window" in the international Tom Howard Poetry Contest.
