Roetzheim reflects Mr. Roetzheim’s day-to-day life in rich and complex language.  Here he pens “Response” to a select group of well-known poets’ works and presents a multi-faceted awareness of San Diego, the city he has lived in and loved for a long time.  Language is best put to use kindling The Seven Heavenly Virtues, as the virtues hope, faith, justice along with others are explored and challenged in the chapter: ‘The Book of Sevens”.   An excerpt follows:
